PRINCIPLE OF MARTIAL STYLES
All martial arts styles have a principle, a set strategy for the art. With some, it is use the length of your legs to keep the opponent out of close range. With others it is moving to the 45 degree angles. Some stress standing square in front and taking the attack to the opponent.
Each of these suits their practitioners best, because that is the way they train. Our strategy encompasses those of Enshin, Kyokushin and Goju Ryu. Use the angles, close the distance, offbalance the target and physically create a state of pain or injury for compliance and or control.
Do not confuse strategy with tactics. Know the difference and work them accordingly.
