COMPETITION TEAM

As of January 1st we are expanding our Competition Team eligibility. You must first discuss it with Shihan Pearlman. You cannot belong to the team unless you are in the basic classes. You must be responsible and mature. The competitions you may enter have nothing to do with promotion and testing.  When you go to competitions you may need to have a blue or white gi or both. Some gi are reversible, white on one side, blue on the other. Some competitions have no color requirements. There will also be a patch specifically designed for the team.

See Shihan to be included after the first of the year.

There will be a $12.00 per month fee for the classes. This will help defray the added expense to the school for the Saturday classes and the instructor, Kaicho Miarecki.

Those of you who have met and/or trained with Kaicho Miarecki know that he is one of the most knowledgeable and well versed teachers in the country.

PRESSURE POINTS SEMINAR

On June 5th we will host a seminar put on by Grandmaster Ken Melbourne, Chief Instructor of Pre 1900 kempo Jitsu.

The seminar is for students 14 years of age and up. It will cost $20.00. We will bow in at 10:00 a.m. and bow out at 1:00p.m.

Those of you who have trained with Sensei Melbourne know his expertise. Those of you who haven't will remember the experience for a lifetime.
