Shobukan means "House of Warrior Spirit"

Western Mass Martial Arts Academy was established in 2000, focusing on the techniques, traditions and values of classical Japanese and Okinawan karate, judo and jujutsu. We draw from these techniques the most efficient and effective methods of self defense. Our training is always evolving to meet the needs of today, but maintains a core of time tested, proven training methods. Our founder and Chief Instructor has been teaching in Western Mass for 23 years.
